Sacred Music Ministry
"LET THE ORGAN THUNDER!"
We are blessed to have found a donor to provide us with a new organ. The organ is being built by the Walker Technical Company of Zionsville, PA. Target date for completion and installation is November 23, 2008.
The organ console will be placed by the choir risers. The instrument will speak from chambers that will be built above both sides of the sactuary. The instrument will speak from above and utilize the building's acoustics to bring support and inspiration to our sung worship.
After installation, the organ will be blessed and commissioned for service to this community.
This is an exciting time for us. We are blessed and thankful to God for his goodness!

The Music Ministry:
Saint John's Choir and Orchestra
The Adult Choir is scheduled to meet Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Church. On the Second Wednesday of the month, the choir will meet from 7:30-9:00 pm.
Contemporary Ensemble
Children's Choir (ages 6-14)
The Children's Choir will meet on the Second Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Church. The children will sing at the 11:00 am Mass on the Second Sunday of every month. During Easter and Christmas seasons, times will vary.
Instrumentalists/Accompanists
Pianists, organists, wood winds, brass, strings, percussion, guitars, are welcome to praise God and serve the congregation through their gift of music.
Cantor/Psalmist
Cantors and Psalmists focuses on the singing of the Psalms at mass and leading the melody of the hymns. Interested cantors need not be part of a choir or ensemble.
